The SCJPA, comprised of the Sun Certified Java Professionals from around Sri Lanka get involved in various extra activities apart from learning Java at the institute. They keep them occupied as well as enable them to be exposed to a more diversified Java community.
The T-Shirt project is sponsored by the Sri Lankan Sun Certified Java Professionals' Association in return to the efforts made for certifying over 97% of SCJP professionals and in making the Java language popular within the community.
IJTS have considered in getting itself involved in various activities that would in turn enable them to build up better and strong relationships with the community. These are some of the activities that IJTS has get itself into.
The annual trip for the year 2006 to Nuwaraeliya was organized by the members of the SCJPA and was on the 2nd and 3rd of March. Accommodation was arranged at Rose Bank Garden Hotel and the students had a great time at Nuwaraeliya, away from all studies.
Students of IJTS arrange dayouts from time to time, providing the opportunity for them to get together and to get out of the day-to-day stresses of their busy learning schedules.
The Extreme Java Bureau is one of the highly performing child clubs of SCJPA (Sun Certified Java Professionals’ Association). Through child clubs such as EJB, students of IJTS get the opportunity of enjoying their Java life to a great extent, through involvements in various activities.
